cyclosporiasis usually shows up in city water supplies some time in summer or fall here in the U.S.

cyclosporiasis is similar to giardia in it's effects and  sometimes fatal if you have a compromised immune system like if you have coronavirus or AIDS or other immune deficiencies.

Because of this you want to have a reverse osmosis tippet at your kitchen sink if you are going to drink tap water this time of year anywhere. Or you can buy distilled or spring water at a store which usually has been boiled which should kill cyclosporiasis intestinal parasites.

But, you likely need to boil water about 5 minutes or more this time of year to kill them if you don't have reverse osmosis because chlorine and fluoride will not kill them as they have adapted to these sterilizing agents over the years.
