Ignorance is Bliss?

I remember when I went to Nepal and watched country people who had no telephone or TV or even a radio and couldn't read and the same thing out in the country all over India I thought about how in some ways their lives were more blissful than mine. The happiest person I ever saw there was a boy where his leg went out sideways so he had to walk on his hands and one leg to the river but he was happy to run on two hands and a leg to see the elephants bathe in the river in Royal Chitwan National park on the Terai of Nepal where it meets India on the jungle plains where tigers and Rhinos and giant snakes lived then in March I believe of 1986.

So, this was maybe the happiest most gleeful person I remember seeing in my life who was crippled and had to run on his hands and one leg because one leg went sideways at the knee who loved to watch the elephants bathe in the river there.

So, is ignorance Bliss? Sometimes.

Today I had the opposite experience of finding out from a English Medical Researchers that people are ONLY immune for less than 3 months of coronavirus after having it.

So, I learned that maybe one person can almost die from coronavirus three months later get it again and then 3 months later get it again and three months later get it again and keep getting it until they die maybe.

I don't know about you but this is the worst news regarding coronavirus I have ever heard and it completely ruined my day (the implications of this).

Where only people who are retired and can afford to shelter in place might always be safe from coronavirus and only under certain specific conditions and everyone on earth  who reaches 40 or 50 is likely to die from it sooner or later.

This pretty much ruined the day for me. Because what is the population of earth going to do during the next 10 years?

Most people might die eventually from coronavirus if it stays like this much longer.

Then I heard that the Chinese are already giving their soldiers a vaccine they have developed.

What's next? They attack the world while everyone is vulnerable?

I'm not sure. That is pretty depressing too if you think about it.

So, today I'm struggling with what I know for sure.

Maybe ignorance IS Bliss! in situations like this one.
