Baby Redwoods and pines and Fir and Oaks can die in Fires but adult Redwoods don't usually die even if there is charred parts of them. Most of the redwoods in these areas won't die if they are burned but parts of them might be charred but they will usually live hundreds or thousands of years more.
They can die if men cut them down and they might even die from drought if it got like a desert for long enough but mostly redwoods are pretty amazing as trees go in many different ways.
