Two things wars and pandemics have in common is a complete unreality around death. Because of Trump he has tried to make it okay that we have lost at least 170,000 tested deaths to coronavirus. However, he hasn't allowed the country to mourn which tends to lead to a kind of insanity. I have seen this before in people when they don't mourn their dead. Eventually, they flip out for a few months or permanently. You cannot just keep going when you have lost loved ones to death and pretend that everything is normal without causing serious temporary or permanent damage to yourselves worldwide.
Grieving the dead and your loss of them is what allows you to stay sane. Yes. It's true when people are dying right and left the way they are now you have to somewhat stay in "BATTLE MODE". But, in doing this you also have to know that at some point you have to grieve your losses or you won't stay sane or possibly even alive in your body.
Grief helps us stay sane and go on living our lives. Without grief we might all have to jump off cliffs and kill ourselves like some people do when they lose their lovers or other loved ones worldwide.
