What is Enlightenment?

It is different for each person. When I was 15 to 17 I thought it was one thing but I was wrong. Enlightenment manifests differently in each person. Here is why I think this is true. Each person is completely unique unto themselves. Even Twins are not exactly the same inside in all their thoughts and feelings even if they are very similar. Each experience we have changes us from everyone else and makes us slightly different.

I had a loving caring mother and grandmother. My father financially supported us well. He didn't smoke or drink and was a minister of a Christian Church from the time I was 6 to 12 years old until my mother's father died and she had a nervous breakdown caused by his death.

My parents were very good people and my mother's mother was a really good person too that lived with us since I was a baby and helped raise me. She was sort of frightened a lot from all that had happened to her in her life from being born in 1888 but that is to be expected because life was extremely hard before the 1950s here in the U.S. It is only since maybe the 1960s and 1970s that people had the good lives that became possible for middle Class and above here in the U.S. Before this suffering was evident in most people's lives in an extreme way.

So, Enlightenment is as individualistic as it can get.

So, my enlightenment obviously will be completely different than your enlightenment.

When did my enlightenment start?

Likely before I was born. There have been many many hard lessons for me to overcome to be here today by the way.

Life isn't easy even if you are on an enlightenment path like I have been on.

However, I looked at my past lives that I could remember and realized I had been a merchant, a king, a lawyer, and almost every other trade already in past lifetimes. So, I thought to myself: "How can I best help myself and all mankind in this lifetime?"

My thought was that if I became enlightened I could do the most good for everyone I met including myself. So, between ages 15 and 17 I girded myself to become enlightened in this lifetime. This was my trade and my goal under all the other trades I was learning to make a living here on earth. by 12 I was learning to be an electrician like my father. In part time jobs I learned to make deliveries in a car or truck by age 16 all over Los Angeles County in heavy traffic which is no small feat if you have ever done it.

I learned to work part time sometimes in factories making things and in warehouses moving things with fork lifts. I learned to build things as a carpenter and to put roofs on houses even though this can be dangerous. I learned to trim trees but realized how dangerous this was so didn't do this very long as I saw others get seriously injured. I even had to stop a chain saw by turning off it's switch and letting it stop in my jeans and slightly into my leg because a limb forced this to happen as it fell. I still didn't fall out of the tree because my left hand held me in the tree so I didn't die when this happened.

I was a natural risk taker and loved to do things like Rock climbing with friends but gave this all up at age 26 when my son was born. Friends of mine either died or almost died pulling zippers while rock climbing after that but I lived through all this because I needed to raise my son to adulthood and to stay alive.

I wound up with 8 years of college in Computer Data Processing, computer programming, Psychology, Anthropology, Philosophy and Social Science but no degrees past a high school diploma by the time I was 40 years old.

However, I started owning and running businesses by the time I was 28 and almost always owned one or more businesses and my wife and I still one a business today even though I'm mostly retired now and mostly she runs our business and I am there sort of like a Fire Captain in case of potential emergencies that sometimes come up that I need to help her address.

So, college was very very helpful in helping me to think more critically and learning to flowchart and program in Cobol and Fortran and Basic and HTML has helped me to organize my life and thoughts more efficiently than I did before.

All of these things along with traveling all over the world with friends and family has helped in me becoming more enlightened every single moment and this never ends it continues even after you pass on to heaven realms after this life is over.

Enlightenment goes on forever through all the heaven realms and dimensions you will ever visit on planets or dimensions or galaxies on into the future or past or wherever your soul decides to go next after this lifetime.

By God's Grace
