I watched this movie and hadn't seen it in quite a while. It is so authentic the way they chose to make this movie that I find it brings me to tears at different points. Hailee Steinfeld plays the 14 year old girl Mattie whose father has just been murdered in the late 1800s. Jeff Bridges plays the Marshall and Matt Damon plays the Texas Ranger and Josh Brolin plays the Man who shot mattie (Hailee's) father in the movie. Excellent movie definitely 4 star all the way. Amazing.
This movie is more true to the book that was written than the John Wayne version of this even though these parts are very hard to watch but it becomes much more authentic to the times with these parts added back in.
