We live in Times of Great Changes

But, it is important to realize that these changes are not all bad. The only times that make sense to compare this too likely would be: The Great Depression, World War II, The AIDS epidemic, The Polio Epidemic, 9-11, The Assassination of President Kennedy etc.

But, if you look at all these events they were not just negative events. Out of all these things came many good things too.

It makes me think of Descartes philosophical saying which was:

"There is nothing so Good that no bad may come of it

And there is nothing so Bad that no good may come of it."

Whenever something really bad happens I often think about this saying and it allows me to cope with whatever bad it is.

Because in life I generally have found this to be a true statement. So, when something good happens I look for the problems the good creates and when something bad happens I look for the good that it creates.

This allows me to move forward in life no matter what happens because I see life in a holistic way and not like a child sees life as only one thing, good or bad.

I'm always able to move forward knowing that life isn't any one thing but always a balance in this way of life and death and birth and rebirth and never ending.

In seeing life in it's ever renewing and always aborning state, for every death there is a new life being born that will also change everything and this is always never ending in it's renewal of life on earth.

Look at the seasons, in winter all the leaves fall off the trees in colder climates only to return every spring with flowers and leaves and beauty and renewal.

All life is also like this where some life dies and it is replaced by other life and it has always been this way for millions and billions of years here on earth.

Life on earth is not about death. Life on earth is about infinite renewal and infinite rebirth ongoing.

By God's Grace
