Air Force Survival Training for downed planes in Idaho

It likely was around 1983 when I did this with a group of people I knew regarding surviving a small plane crash in the bush (away from any cities).

The single most important thing they said was attitude. If you panic you are just dead and that's all. So, taking an interest in your survival first and then anyone you can save around you has to come first. But, if you don't set up your own survival first you cannot save anyone else either.

So, take an interest in your survival. Where is the food? Where are tools? where are warm clothes? (if it's cold outside) Where is wood I can burn to stay warm? Where are people who can help me? How far away are they from here? Do I wait here for help or do I go get help? These are the things you think about in survival situations.

And the whole world is in a survival situation still right now.

We don't know what variants will do.

We don't know what exactly will happen in Texas and Mississippi when the mask mandates end.

This could create variants to run rapid through these states and into neighboring states too over time.

So, covid survival isn't over here in the U.S. or around the world either.

Most countries on earth won't get vaccinated until 2024 by the way. So, it's possible that variants will come from these unvaccinated countries as well and spread to here and to Europe too over time.
