This movie is one of our favorites because we both remember the Cuban Missile Crisis. it is a comedy if you are able to laugh at those times. We find it comforting somehow to watch this movie because it reminds of this era. In 1962 I was 14 and my wife was 7 then so each of us remembers those times.Because so many people were afraid they were all going to die then it's really nice to laugh about it all now.
