We were able to get away to Santa Barbara today. This week likely will be in the 70s and 80s here along the coast. The highest temperatures we saw driving south on 101 were around 91 or 92 degrees. It was mostly a beautiful day for traveling once we got away from the coast which was foggy in patches here and there. Where we live up north of here on the coast it will be in the 60s and low 70s whereas here is in the mid 70s to 80s Fahrenheit. But, it was a really beautiful day to travel down 101. There was some work on the road which slowed people down some heading south around King City on 101. I'm not sure what is going to happen there tomorrow but we had to be in one lane for quite some time. Just north of Buellton it was the same kind of thing heading north between Buellton and Santa Maria with a lot of traffic going pretty slow north to Santa Maria and further north. It's still 69 degrees as of 11 pm Monday night here. Also, there is a Santa Ana Wind condition and there were white caps on the ocean where you come out on the ocean near the tunnel as you head south towards Santa Barbara on 101. So, most of the way south from around King City we had a tail wind likely gusting around 20 mph or more and the gusts got faster than this maybe to 30 to 40 mph or something like this in Santa Barbara from the Santa Ana wind conditions.
