I can think of nothing as important (if you want to stay alive until say 2030) that you will need as much as good health care insurance right now and into the future. It might be the difference between life and death looking at the combination of Covid deaths and Hurricane Ida deaths in Louisiana right now, for example.
So, if you are planning to stay alive until even 2030 having good health insurance likely is a must for actually succeeding at staying alive even until 2030.
