If you look at the weather map at KSBW weather at : https://www.ksbw.com/weather/radar#
you can see that snow is coming down all the way to the ocean as far south as Tillamook, Oregon all the way up into Canada. This will make travel anywhere from there north from now on until Tuesday or Wednesday very difficult or impossible depending upon what the weather brings next (and what people's driving skill level in snow is).
Where I am nearer to San Francisco I went down to the ocean and it was so miserable and cold in the rain that I was the the ONLY person down on the beach walking my dog. Of course that makes sense because I used to be a surfer and still snorkel and body surf sometimes even at 73 especially in Hawaii. So, I'm familiar regarding what to look for in what can be dangerous in Storm ocean waves. But, even then in my rubber storm jacket it was still pretty miserable because of the wind blowing up underneath my jacket from the ocean. The non-existent little river at our nearest beach was 10 to 15 feet wide after being dry before this last series of storms began. One day it was 35 feet wide and 5 feet deep. It's still five feet deep into the sand but only 10 feet wide now. So, I could stand up on the 5 foot high berm of sand above the newly cut storm river flying into the ocean. The waves were so big they came up the new little river about 1/2 a block as each big wave hit. There were even surfers out at various beaches but you really have to know what you are doing and to know where they rocks are and if you are getting hypothermia from the cold and when to get out when you are surfing in these cold conditions. But, here mostly during the day it was in the 50s Fahrenheit usually between 50 and 55 degrees. But, when it is stormy like this it's too miserable for people out unless they have umbrellas and in this kind of rain I prefer a rubber jacket because winds like this will turn an umbrella inside out pretty fast too!
When I got back to the truck I turned on the defroster to keep the front window from fogging up and the floor heater on combined after wiping down my dog to keep her warm and I took off my rubber jacket and shook the water off and turned it inside out so it wouldn't wet my cab on my truck. I have winter Tech rubber mats that catch all the sand and snow if I were in snow or rain in the rain so I don't have to worry about messing up my front floor on my truck with plastic Winter Tech gear on the floor of my truck. I have my dog stay on the front floor so she doesn't ruin the upholstery in my truck when she is sandy or wet.
