It's true that there are very provincial people in the U.S. and especially all big countries like Russia and China especially. Because it is known that the U.S., Russia and China tend to be the most ethnocentric countries on earth. Also, if you study ethnocentrism at all, you also know that ethnocentric countries are the most likely to go to war with each other.
So, for example, the most dangerous people to world peace tend to live in the centers of big countries like China, Russia, and the U.S. Why?
Because often they have never traveled around the world and have very small eccentric and nationalistic world views and are often very racist in their thinking (whether they understand this or not).
How do you prevent world wars?
By traveling to other countries and learning about other countries enough to open your mind to new ideas.
For example, because of Nuclear weapons my generation in the 1960s did this. And this helped prevent World War III, helped in the Collapse of the Soviet Union, and reduced the threat of nuclear war here on earth at that time.
However, we now live in very different times than those where isolation is growing because of Covid which will create very very ethnocentric people in all large countries which likely will increase the chances of war between Russia, China and the U.S. within the next 10 years.
So, I guess what I'm saying here is Covid is also a breeding Ground for war because of the isolation it is creating in order for people to survive Covid worldwide.
