The primary reason is this demographic:
75% of the people who have died of Covid so far are over 65 years of age.
21% of the people who have died o Covid so far are between 45 and 65 years of age.
What does this mean that is important here?
It means only 4% of the people who have died so far of Covid are under 45 years of age.
Therefore, if you are under 45 years of age you have a statistically low chance of dying of Covid.
However, if you are over 45 you have a statistically incredibly high chance of dying of covid, especially if you are not vaccinated at all.
This is why people over 50 are now retiring in droves whenever they can.
Why?
Because they don't want to die before they retire from working at a job that might give them Covid and kill them.
Very simple if you understand the statistics of Covid worldwide.
