This is a CIA type of story and Chris Pine is a long time CIA agent. Intellectually it is stimulating trying to figure out what is going on and who's to blame. You want to know who did it and how or is it all made up what they are looking for. Is it about Scapegoats when no one is to blame or what? Is it all for real. And within the CIA there are (ALL the old knives) maybe?
It's a "Who dun it? (or is it?)
And to top it off, this is one of those movies where you never are going to guess the ending.
