I would say that the War in Ukraine will go on as long as Putin is in power:

 Or until every building in Ukraine is destroyed. When there is nothing left to bomb in Ukraine because Putin has destroyed it all completely with nothing left standing I think maybe then the war will end. But, it might not end even then until everyone fighting for Ukraine gives up and stops fighting. It's a very strange and potentially never ending situation because of this.

However, for the Russian and Ukrainian People this can only be horrific in an ongoing way for every reason you can think of.

The real problem with all of this is that this situation (worldwide) is 100 to 1000 times worse for the world (potentially) than World war II.

The sooner the world can get past this the sooner the world can better deal with Global Climate changes.

Because Global Climate changes this century will do 100 to 1000 times the damage than Putin can do unless he turns the world into an Asteroid belt in a fit of rage.

So, the sooner this war in Ukraine is over and Putin leaves power the sooner the human race can try to find ways not to go extinct this century from all the ramifications of relentless and ongoing Global Climate changes.
