Since they only show 100 crewmen then likely the other 400 are dead or wounded. It's true if there was a fire there might be many with really bad burns for example with a fire like that one that blew up an Ammunition magazine. Because the ammunition magazine might have included not just cannon shells but also extra cruise missiles that might have also gone off which would have taken out a lot of crewmen or wounded them or burned them severely. Also, if they were in stormy seas it's hard to rescue between ships and likely the officers would be rescued first by helicopter if it could fly in bad weather. Tying up to a rescue ship in a storm is bad business anyway you look at it. So, maybe only 100 crewmen were rescued? Unknown.
But, we do know that at least one crew member has died so far because he was mentioned as having died online whether his family was supposed to have done this or not I'm not sure because it's possible they would be punished by Putin for saying he died. Unknown.
