Because you are always on the edge of your seat with this one. Imagine the movie Cowboys and Aliens except that the alien force is Chronos the Greek God who Time is named after who is the father of Zeus and who castrated his own father at the behest of his mother (Greek Mythology).
So, all sorts of things happen in regard to Time in this series.
It takes place on Cattle Ranches in Wyoming and looks like the Present day time period so far.
