projected Highs for Thursday: Los Angeles 98: Santa Barbara 94: Palm Springs 97: San Diego 92

When you see Palm Springs being cooler than Los Angeles you know you are in a weird weather situation because that just isn't normal most times of the year. We have one more day here in California of unseasonably warm coastal weather before the temperatures drop and then possible snow in the Sierras next week.

When I looked at the wind charts it looks like a Santa Ana Wind condition which means hot winds off the ocean blowing out to sea. That's how you get such hot conditions along the southern Coast.

However, even in San Francisco it's 86 degrees

Fresno 94 and

Redding 93

whereas Las Vegas is still 86 which is the same temperature of San Francisco.

very strange weather conditions and likely a lot of weather records for high temperatures are going to be broken state wide tomorrow!
