They said that they distracted the crew of the "Moskva" with a drone flying above them. So, while they were worrying about that, likely the Neptune missiles flew just above the ocean (maybe a few feet) and hit the side of the Moskva. So, because they would be below radar they likely never saw it coming until it was too late. There would be no sound of it coming until it hit or maybe a few seconds at most before. This is what eventually sank the Moskva. So, it would be coming at maybe the speed of sound or something like that just a few feet above where a torpedo would come but so much faster it likely wouldn't be heard or seen until too late because it would be below any radar detection.
So, unless you were tracking this by a satellite above somehow there would be no way to track this thing.
