Even though we might say Putin backed himself into a corner the end result is the same. Also, any city where a tactical nuclear weapon explodes would become uninhabitable if people didn't want to die from radiation poisoning for some time afterwards because radiation would remain for some time. If you want to study this more study about what happened in Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945 and afterwards. we had to study about this a lot in the 1950s and 1960s as school children in order to help prevent this from ever happening again. But, here we are today dealing with this again possibly.
