We are already seeing 7 dollars a gallon some places in California because California adds gas taxes for the maintenance of highways all over California. From one point of view Freeways are not free unless someone pays for their building and maintenance. So, seeing 10 dollars a gallon to keep Europe and the European Union from going into a full blown depression from their present recession caused by the Ukraine war is going to be quite a project for the U.S. and world ongoing.
Putin is likely starving to death by this war hundreds of millions more people than die in most years from starvation by everything he is now doing. This will make this all much much worse than anyone could imagine up until now.
10 dollars a gallon for gas WILL be transferred to the prices of all foods that need to be hauled. IF you can grow your own food this might be the time to do it if you aren't rich worldwide by the way. And even if you are rich you might want to grow your own organic foods too.
