Pelosi is prioritizing her family which is likely prudent since she would only be a minority leader if she ran

 So, this likely is the last time she will be speaker in this session of Congress. It was great the way Republicans and Democrats all clapped for her that she was prioritizing her family in this way unanimously. They all recognize that this could have been a member of their families too that was attacked like this so their concern is universal for all members of their families too. After all, she was the Speaker of the House for all members in all parties too to the best of her ability.
