First thing: Unless you are incredibly rich you shouldn't buy land below 20 feet above Sea level World Wide. Why?
Because the Doomsday glacier is expected to raise waters in all the oceans by 16 feet withing 20 years.
Next. If you live where tornadoes or hurricanes happen you should just expect them to get twice as bad over the next 20 years. Can you live with that?
Because this is what Global Warming will automatically bring over the next 20 years time.
If you live where it is flat expect winds of 200 to 300 miles per hour within 20 years at least one day a year everywhere on earth. Why?
Because global warming is about warming seas mostly. The air might do anything but the real heat is stored in the oceans and great bodies of water around the world. When you heat up the ocean there is much more rain everywhere but it is going to go places maybe it hasn't before so this is something to prepare for too worldwide.
So, as you can see if you just use common sense and logic maybe you can survive Global Climate changes after all!
