What I found strange is that despite everthing musk has done the stock just keeps going up. Why?

My daughter(in her early 30s) has an interesting point of view here. Musk is into Free Speech which means listening to EVERY point of view like we did in the 1950s because people believed in Free Speech then. Sure there were people sometimes killing or maiming each other over this free speech but this kind of thing has also gone on since people existed on earth. Her point of view is that all the other social platforms SUPPRESS free speech. But, if you Suppress Free Speech you CANNOT have a working democracy with ANY point of view completely shut out. So, she said that Musk is not liberal or conservative but instead "COMPLETELY UNEXPECTED" at every turn.
