I don't remember seeing anything like this this time of year before. It definitely speaks to the literally apocalyptic temperature times we have going on inland from the coast. Where I am nearer to San Francisco on the coast I can just barely see the trees next to my house because the fog is just so very thick right now. But, I had no idea that this isn't just here but all the way up to North of Eureka and Arcata likely as far north as Crescent City, California.
As it moves southward it becomes thicker and thicker out to sea to where it becomes hundreds of miles thick out to sea by Ensenada Mexico. Amazing to see this happen like this this time of year for hundreds of miles along the California coast caused by the apocalyptic temperatures now inland from the coast.
Literally everyone and their little brother is now here at the coast trying to beat the heat of hell temperatures inland from Seattle to Arizona and New Mexico and Texas and all the rest in between!
Even in far north Seattle it will be 94 degrees today which really says something about how bad this heat is inland from Seattle south into Mexico inland from the West Coast of the whole U.S.
In Portland, Oregon it will be 104 today!
