Why?
For me, it's his statement when asked what he would do if he lost the election: "I would know I had done my best."
This is the statement of a VERY OLD MAN not someone who actually cares whether we lose our democracy or not. No one serious can vote for him with this attitude at all. People will stay away from the polls rather than vote for someone who says things like this.
It just shows how "OUT OF TOUCH WITH ANY REALITY HE IS"!
