Like I have said before 51 degrees is definitely fall or winter weather as a low here because the Pacific Ocean usually keeps the temperatures year around somewhere between 85 and 40 year around. Once in a great while you might get a 32 or even a 30 but maybe that's one day every year or few years. What is more normal is 100 mph winds coming off the ocean sometimes in February or March with the power out from trees falling onto power lines for up to a week. But, luckily we don't live on a flood plain but instead on a hill so we don't get flooded because of this. And also we live in forest mostly with Deer and other animals like Raccoons and squirrels and birds a lot too along the coast. So, it's great to have another sunny day after the almost 6 months before of cloudy or foggy weather since the Spring. However, the good thing is that you don't usually need an air conditioner here just Central Heating year around to stay warm in your home.
