Hurricanes become more of a threat each year as the ocean water levels rise everywhere equally

If you look at a globe of the world you can see clearly how the Atlantic Ocean is connected to the Pacific ocean and the pacific Ocean is connected to all sorts of oceans and how the Atlantic ocean is also connected directly to the Mediterranean Ocean as well.

Then when you have storms like Milton and if they hit at high Tide then this could be really disastrous for those areas because you have to take high tide and then add the 10 to 15 feet or more on top of that. Then you have to also take the force of the waves on top of that. So, these hurricanes are getting really dangerous especially if they hit at high tide with big waves that wash away some or all of the wooden homes built wherever they hit.
