I haven't noticed it as much in the past but for example, my wife says when it looks this way between Santa Cruz Island and the Mainland here in Santa Barbara is usually means the winds are blowing pretty hard as she grew up sailing here on her father's yacht a lot. However, now it's in the air almost everywhere this fall. At first when you look at it you think it might be smoke or fog but it's the wrong color and there is no smoke or smog in the air. So, it's just this "difficult to see clearly through" moisture in the air. I have noticed this more now further north near San Francisco along the coast too. Of course when you look at Hurricane Milton the weather is sort of drastically changing everywhere not just here and not just Florida but everywhere.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
