The elevation of Rewalsar, India, a significant religious site in the Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh, is approximately 1,360 meters (4,460 feet) above sea level

I was double checking that I got this altitude right. It had to be written after I went to Rewalsar, India with my family in early 1986 after I went to the Kalachakra  initiation with 500,000 other people in Bodhgaya, India in December of 1985. So, I wanted to get the altitude right. I'm in the hospital now and it's around 3:30 AM now and I decided that since I couldn't sleep anymore I might as well get up and write some.

If you are interested in Tibetan Buddhism, Rewalsar is also Called Tsopema (after Padmasambhava who was a Mahasiddha from Nalanda Buddhist University at the time he lived.

Here is a quote about him from Google AI:

Padmasambhava, also known as Guru Rinpoche, lived and brought Vajrayana Buddhism to Tibet in the 8th century CE, a period marked by miraculous events, including his legendary birth from a lotus in the Swat Valley (modern-day Pakistan/Afghanistan) around 749 CE. He is a pivotal figure, considered the founder of the Nyingma school, and helped establish the first Tibetan monastery, Samye, under King Trisong Detsen.
