The present storm hitting California is everywhere sporadically from San Diego to Canada

 Looking at the video weather map as of 4:44PM Saturday the storm has pieces of it throughout many of the western States.

It stretches sporadically through Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Oregon Washington California, and Canada and even into Idaho presently.

It is also snowing throughout the Sierras at this time from About Fresno to Reno so possibly travel there across 50 and 80 might not be good now.

I checked interstate 80 and chains are required from Donner pass to Kingvale, California.
