The Real Shambala:

Let me tell you what happened to me in my life regarding Shambala. I had heard the legends of Shambala and wondered where it was located and many believed that Mt. Shasta is a location of the Library of Shambala contained in it's volcanic rocks. So, people often take a rock off the mountain and put it under their pillow so that they can "download" information and wisdom and Teachings from Shambala directly from Mt. Shasta.

Whether you believe this or not it is an interesting idea and theory especially if you understand how computer information can be stored in Crystals Glass or rock especially since so much of Mt. Shasta being volcanic is also crystalline in nature which could theoretically store a whole lot of information. So, as our technology advances we too could use crystals more and more to store information too (maybe even at a quantum level?)

Anyway, when I went from Thailand to India in late December of 1985 with my family (wife and 3 children ages 10 to 14) I believed I was visiting a friend (a Tibetan Lama) who told me he would be in Bodhgaya India in December of 1985 on specific Dates. So, on an intuitive hunch I went there from Thailand after a week or more snorkeling on Koi Samed Island near Bangkok which was amazing too with my family.

However, when I arrived to find about 500,000 people there for a Dalai Lama initiation into the Kalachackra Tantra I was amazed because I knew nothing about this at all.

Well, it turns out the Kalachakra Tantric Initiation is something that every Tibetan Buddhist all over the world wants to have this before they pass on. So, people of every age were coming out of Tibet even though they knew that they might never be able to return home because of the Chinese once they had left because they were Tibetan Buddhists. So, our friend Geshe Lobsang Gyatso who was of the same lineage as the Dalai Lama of Tibetan Buddhism met us there and signed us up for the 4 day initiation into the Shambala Kalachakra Tantra
