This is why I often say: "I can't believe that ANYONE survives to be 30 years old."

The problem becomes: "Are you going to do what your parents want you to do or what you want to do with your life?"

and then: "Are you going to succeed at either?"

And will you be happy enough to stay alive with the choices you actually make or go down under self recrimination that you made the wrong choices.

Because if you judge yourself because you aren't happy with the choices too much then you are dead.

This all was my experience between ages 18 and 25 by the way.

How did I personally survive to be 30?

Barely survived.

Not everyone has to face themselves like I did. Not everyone faces themselves until maybe they are going to die and some not even then.

But, I was too intelligent to do anything else but what I did.

Is being intelligent a good thing?

Einstein said it best: "Intelligence isn't very useful without common sense."

I think I completely agree with this statement.

No matter how intelligent you are without common sense you are soon dead even if you are rich.

This is the Truth.

So, figure out a way to follow your bliss. Follow your passions in life. Otherwise you might be dead soon.

This is my thought about how to survive to be 30.

This is also why they say: "If you live to be 30 you likely will see 90 years old."

I agree with this statement by the way.
