What does SNAFU mean from World War II jargon? (by the way it's not polite)

It means literally

Situation Normal All Fucked UP

Usually this means there are dead bodies everywhere, Sir!

And many wounded too!

So, because it is impolite in mixed company they began to say: 
 

"SNAFU" instead of what it really means.

Also "FUBAR" is a variation of SNAFU from World War II

which means:

Fucked Up Beyond All Recognition

AS in "Sir the soldiers are dead and we cannot identify them from the pieces left."

So, FUBAR with  Arnold who was once Governor of California is titled "FUBAR".
