Hospital costs are rising far faster than inflation and drowning Americans in debt

This reminds me of me when I was around 46 years old in 1994. I had what the hospital called "A Panic Attack". However, I believed at the time I was dying. So, no matter what the Doctors at the hospital said I knew something much more serious was going on. IT started when I couldn't walk or get up out of bed in the middle of the night. So, since I couldn't stand up or walk I crawled out of bed and along the floor to the bathtub to die. Because at this point I had no indication that I was going to live through this experience. I crawled into the bathtub which was an old clawfoot bathtub there in Aromas on a 7 acre ranch and put the hot water on to a temperature I could stand and waited to die. This was my experience and I was comforting myself before I died at this point in my own mind. The only other person helping me at this point was my 4 year old daughter because my then wife was completely useless to my survival. It was at this point I realized I needed to get a divorce because my survival wasn't important to that wife. Rude Awakening on many different levels at once.

However, after I actually got my wife to drive to me to the hospital (SEVERAL HOURS LATER) they told me it was a panic attack. I never did believe this and realized something was wrong with my heart.

So, I went to several heart specialists and none would see me because I didn't have health insurance at age 46 because we ran our own business and were raising 4 kids from age 4 to 20 or more at that point. So, NONE of the heart specialists would see me at all without some kind of health insurance.

So, I thought to myself, "AM I going to die now because I don't have good health insurance?

Unfortunately, the answer is still for all of you: "YOU MIGHT DIE WITHOUT HEALTH CARE INSURANCE from about age 40 on.

So, within a year I divorced my wife who didn't care if I lived or died and eventually remarried a lady who insisted I have good health care insurance so when I got a heart virus at age 50 I didn't just die and was able to retire instead so I could survive this heart virus.

Also, I had an as of yet undiagnosed hypothyroid condition which wasn't diagnosed properly until 2006 when my physical trainer from Germany who had been trained as a physician's assistant in Germany diagnosed properly what was wrong with me from my symptoms then in 2006. However, the above experience was 1994 12 years before this.

So, if you don't have GOOD health care insurance just expect to either die or go bankrupt potentially somewhere between ages 40 and 60.

This is the problem of living past 40 I think from my own experiences now.
