I would say rescuing the Airman from Iran likely cost around 500 million dollars at least

First of all a C-130 cost about 100 million dollars all by itself and they wound up blowing up two of these rescuing the Airman shot down. So, since our baseline is 200 million in planes lost along with any special equipment on board to find the Airman it is quite logical that rescuing this airman cost 500 million dollars at least.

So, now let's divide that cost by 35,000 dollars which is the average cost of a Shahed Drone used now to destroy all oil infrastructure in the Middle East by Russia through Iran.

when you divide 500 million dollars by 35,000 dollars (the cost of building one Shahed Drone in Iran or Russia you get: 

14,285.7142857

 

Or 14,285 Shahed Drones or almost one more for the same price.

 

If this war is fought this way who wins?

 

A better way to put this is that this is not a war that the U.S. can win because we are spending too much to do everything we are doing.

 

Unless we are more cost effective like the Ukrainians and Russians and Iranians are we will actually lose this war of attrition and likely have already started to lose this war from spending too much money already to actually win it.

 

This is realistic when you take a cost effective approach to war in general.

 

This is a new type of warfare where money doesn't win it. Being more cost effective does.

 

Iran Doesn't have to win this war "THEY ONLY HAVE TO NOT LOSE AND THAT'S ALL"

 

it was a similar thing that George Washington did not have to win the war with England he only had to not lose.

 

Now Iran supported by Russia is in this same position while Trump bankrupts our military with stupid decisions on every front.

 

I'm not saying that rescuing our airman was wrong. What I am saying is that it was not cost effective to do this. That's all.

 

Unless we are hundreds of times more cost effective we have already lost this war with Iran.

 

This is completely obvious to me. I would say we have already lost by the way all this has been handled by a bumbling president not qualified for warfare. 

WHAT WOULD 14,285 Shahed Drones HITTING ISRAEL WITH DAISY CUTTERS ON BOARD DO?

IT WOULD MAKE A LOT OF PEOPLE SEND THEIR FAMILIES TO LIVE SOMEWHERE OTHER THAN ISRAEL SO THEY DON'T DIE.

So, what happens to Israel then?

That's the point. 

NOTE: Also, Trump said that over 100 Aircraft were involved in this rescue including Refueling air tankers too. Also, they had to come in very low under the radar to do this so small arms fire put many many bullet holes in all the planes coming in this low like C-130 Hercules aircraft. 

However, it is likely aircraft including military helicopters have thicker armor that is light made out of titanium to take these bullets and to keep going too. So, he's right about us having the best military and equipment on earth. This is true too!
