There is a road that drives by the hospital and then suddenly it starts to go down steep to the coast. However, it is surrounded by mostly Monterey Pine Trees as well as oaks and a few Redwoods. The problem is that when people are not used to this road when it is raining it's really dangerous if you go to fast because at 30 to 40 miles per hour you could skid out with your rear tires in the rain then hit the embankment to the right then bounce into the trees.
The problem being that if you hit a big tree at 30 or 40 miles per hour you are literally dead. People don't usually survive this. A Baby might but adults usually die.
However, I have noticed recently that much more signage about slowing down in gaudy ways seems to be making people drive slower in the rain so I haven't seen mangled cars in the rain off to my left very often the last few years.
So, If you have a road like this where you live and you don't want people to die when it's raining be sure to notify people of this danger before they die too wherever you live around the world.
