How does one determine what is truth and what is fiction?

I think this is a really hard question in some ways because people are going to lie to you and worst of all are people who lie to themselves who cannot help lying to you.

I consider Trump someone who both lies to himself and who also lies to all others which means you are never going to get Truth out of anything Trump says or does which is quite pathetic on many different levels of reality and completely terrifying for anyone who is honest with themselves on earth.

So, with Trump you have "The Blind Leading the Blind" which is really terrifying to watch how much harm it has caused to the world.

But, if we are to take "How does one determine what is truth and what is fiction?

In some ways "You cannot determine what is truth and what is fiction because of all the people lying to themselves AND all the people lying to you consciously.

My father had a solution to this problem when he said to me: "You will NEVER have enough information to make any decision you need to in life so you just have to keep making decisions and when you get more information about anything often you have to change your decisions and you have to allow yourself to constantly be changing your decisions as you move through life."

Because lies are something we all deal with whether we are lying to ourselves or people are lying to us or people are lying to themselves and then lying to us in all sincerity.

So, just accepting we live in a world of lies is a good place to start.

So, whether we survive or not is often directly tied to critical thinking skills we tend to learn in High School or College or through the School of Hard Knocks!
