MOSCOW (AP) — The Russian government's communications watchdog has issued a warning to a top independent radio station over a program about Ukraine.
Roskomnadzor's warning to Ekho Moskvy related to this week's program, in which two journalists exchanged first-hand accounts of fighting between pro-Russia rebels and government forces in eastern Ukraine.
The journalists, Sergei Loiko of the Los Angeles Times and Timur Olevskiy of Russia's independent Dozhd television station, talked, in particular, about fighting around the airport in the main rebel-held city of Donetsk, that has continued despite a truce signed in September.
The agency said Friday the program contained "information justifying war crimes," but didn't elaborate.
Ekho Moskvy's editor-in-chief, Alexei Venediktov, rejected the claim and said the station would appeal the warning.
Under Russian law, a media outlet could face closure if it receives two warnings in one year. The warning was the first for Ekho Moskvy.
While most Russian media toe the government's line, Ekho Moskvy has given a platform to Kremlin critics despite being majority-owned by a branch of Gazprom, Russia's state-controlled gas giant.
Media freedom in Russia has steadily shrunk under the rule of President Vladimir Putin. With all nationwide television stations under state control and most print media full of adulation for Putin, authorities have methodically moved to tame few remaining independent media outlets amid a strain with the West over Ukraine.
Early this year, several leading cable and satellite providers cut Dozhd, the top independent TV station, from their packages following an inquiry by prosecutors. Later, the owner of Lenta.ru, a leading online news outlet, fired its editor over coverage of Ukraine.
And last month, Russian lawmakers approved a bill that would limit foreign ownership in Russian media to 20 percent. The measure was widely seen as directed at critical print outlets with foreign ownership, such as the Vedomosti business daily and the Russian Forbes magazine.

How to publish a blog like this one

With the world getting crazier by the moment a lot like just before World War II in many ways, information, (good information) that helps people around the world be better informed so they can make better decisions regarding their whereabouts, financial realities, jobs, businesses, survival, what is safe to eat etc. etc. etc. is more and more important every single day.

By publishing a blog something like this one you help people of similar minds to survive their lives better. One blog article you publish might save 100 or more people's lives in various ways any day you write this blog.

So, by being conscientious and thoughtful about the way you blog you help save people's lives and increase their lifespans, so they too can do more good for their families and friends as well all around the world wherever Google Goes at this point or wherever your blog source goes to around the world.

First, you have to decide where you are going to publish. I chose Blogger.com after reading about a lady who made a lot of money with her website here at blogger.com.(It is also called Blogspot).

Next, I signed up for one of their free Blogging sites with the name "intuitivefred888". At the time I wanted to convey that I have been a natural intuitive all my life and often know things before they happen. To people in my church that I grew up in somehow this was upsetting because they couldn't explain "HOW?" I could do this. However, for me, it is just about how the human race survived for thousands and thousands of years through Volcanoes, droughts, Hurricanes etc. without satellites or anyway to know what next was going to kill whole tribes of people at once. There were always at least 1 to 10 out of every 100 people that survived that were like me that knew important things before they happened so whole tribes of people were not wiped out on the same day.

Without people like myself for thousands of years before major religions human would have completely gone extinct. This I firmly believe.

I like to mostly use "Firefox" from Mozilla rather than Safari, for example. I also like the security of Firefox over Explorer. However, I have had success blogging using Google Chrome. In some ways since Blogger.com is a part of Google, Google Chrome sometimes is faster to blog with than Firefox. However, it has it's drawbacks too. So far, I have found no perfect browser to blog with. They all have their positives and negatives that you will have to weigh yourself every day you blog.

Next, most blogging where you are quoting something you have two windows or more open to do this. You quote (always give credit to whoever wrote the article so you won't be accused ever of plagiarism). So, the way I usually do this is to say Begin quote from: and then copy the word button for the article. Or I say at the end of the quote, End Quote from: and then I put the word button of the article. It is important to separate whatever you say yourself regarding any article from whatever was in the article. Otherwise, the writers of the article or their editors are going to be pissed with you.

So, protect yourself by giving credit to whoever wrote the article even if it was you.

So, by using multiple windows and the edit function you can copy and paste from one window to another and come up with a Blogsite like mine if you wish.

In this way you can help make lives better and even save lives by creating and maintaining a web site like this one if you wish.

Also, be very aware of the laws regarding doing this in whatever country you are in doing this so you don't have problems like  being pulled from your home and shot or beheaded one day (like in the middle east) for just reporting the truth to people.

Also, I don't like people to know completely who I am. This allows me to feel safer giving people higher quality information without endangering myself or  my family or my friends. I can speak more freely here as I write about things without fear. However, I never name any of my family or friends unless they want me to for business reasons. This protects everyone.

Also, I don't usually take photos that could be recognized of my friends or family and publish them here in order to protect them.

One more thing make sure your geotags are off on whatever device you use to take photos and publish them online so you don't give people the exact location of your home or business if you don't want that known. A geotag gives (within 3 feet anywhere on earth) your exact longitude and Latitude which is automatically done on many cameras and smartphones owned around the world so be careful of that.

Doing all this I now have had almost 545,000 visits to my site now averaging over 1000 visits per day. However, I have to also say here that this slowly built between 2007 and 2011 when during the Japanese Earthquake and Tsumani my readership exploded and continues now to grow every day. So, these things might not happen overnight. But, as you give people quality articles that they can begin to rely on your readership will tend to grow over time.

Also, for me, since I'm mostly retired this is like a meditation for me doing this. It is also a learning experience where I can share what I'm interested and learning about on any given day. It reminds me a little of home schooling my older children from 1980 to 1985. They are now 43, 41 and 40 and all married and are a Fire Captain, a Lawyer and a Teacher. I also have two younger daughters and two god daughters. So, it is sort of like helping all children and adults out there to have a love of learning too like I have always had all my life.

(CNN) -- Virgin Group founder Richard Branson said Saturday that invesigators will find out what caused the Virgin Galactic's SpaceShipTwo to break apart during a test flight over the Mojave Desert Friday, killing one pilot and injuring another.
"We are determined to find out what went wrong," he said at a press conference
"We're not going to push on blindly," he said. "We're going to learn from what went wrong."
Branson said leaders of Virgin Galactic have received messages of support from NASA and other agencies.
"The space community sticks together," he said
But he said he couldn't talk about the investigation being conducted by the National Transportation Safety Board.
The first sign there was a problem with Virgin Galactic's SpaceShipTwo came at about 45,000 feet, just two minutes after the spaceplane separated from the jet-powered aircraft that carried it aloft.
It wasn't something overt with SpaceShipTwo, said Stuart Witt, the chief executive of Mojave Air & Space Port in California, where it was launched and monitored. It was what didn't happen next during the test flight, he said. Witt did not offer details, but appeared to indicate the spaceplane did not follow its previous test-flight patterns.
Nothing seemed abnormal during the takeoff or flight prior to the spaceplane's failure, Witt told reporters.

SpaceShipTwo has 'anomaly' in test flight
Virgin Galactic conducted "extensive ground testing of all parts of the spaceship," Branson said earlier.
"We've always known that the road to space is extremely difficult -- and that every new transportation system has to deal with bad days early in their history," Branson said in a statement as he was en route to the firm's Mojave site.
The pilot who is hospitalized parachuted to the ground, Virgin Galactic said.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of all those affected by this tragic accident," it said.
The two pilots worked for Scaled Composites, its president, Kevin Mickey, said. He declined to publicly identify the pilots or detail their experience.
"Space is hard, and today was a tough day. We are going to be supporting the investigation as we figure out what happened today, and we are going to get through it," Virgin Galactic CEO George Whitesides said.
"The future rests in many ways on hard, hard days like this."
For years, Virgin Galactic has planned to sell trips in which SpaceShipTwo transports passengers about 62 miles above Earth -- the beginning of outer space -- and lets them experience a few minutes of weightlessness before returning to ground.
The incident occurred over the Mojave Desert shortly after SpaceShipTwo separated from WhiteKnightTwo, the vehicle designed to carry it aloft, the Federal Aviation Administration said. The jet-powered WhiteKnightTwo returned safely to the Mojave Air & Space Port, Witt said.
Said Branson: "This was the latest part of an extensive test flight program, and the 55th time SpaceShipTwo had flown. It was WhiteKnightTwo's 173rd flight and the 35th time SpaceShipTwo had flown freely."
Questions are being raised about a new fuel mixture used after Mickey said it had been ground-tested a number of times, but Friday's flight was the first time it was used in a test flight.
The National Transportation Safety Board is leading the investigation with FAA support, under a voluntary cooperative agreement between the agencies.
NASA administrator Charles Bolden offered his condolences to the family of the pilot killed in the test flight failure.
"While not a NASA mission, the pain of this tragedy will be felt by all the men and women who have devoted their lives to exploration," Bolden said. "Spaceflight is incredibly difficult, and we commend the passion of all in the space community who take on risk to push the boundaries of human achievement."
It's unclear what the failure of the spaceplane will mean for the program. Virgin Galactic planned to send paying customers on SpaceShipTwo as early as next year.
Virgin has sold more than 700 tickets, each costing more than $250,000, for future flights. Several celebrities have already signed up, including Justin Bieber, Ashton Kutcher, Leonardo DiCaprio and Stephen Hawking.
With composite lightweight materials, "feathered" rudders capable of turning 90 degrees and a hybrid rocket engine, SpaceShipTwo is as safe as modern technology can make it. As designer and aviator Burt Rutan put it in 2008, "This vehicle is designed to go into the atmosphere in the worst case straight in or upside down and it'll correct."
Details of Friday's test flight plan were not immediately known. But in previous test flights, SpaceShipTwo has been loaded on the jet-powered WhiteKnightTwo, which can take the spaceplane to about 50,000 feet before the spaceplane is released to fly free.
At that altitude, SpaceShipTwo would then fire its RocketMotorTwo, a hybrid rocket engine powered by both solid and liquid fuel.
SpaceShipTwo would reach supersonic speeds on its way to its intended altitude of about 62 miles above the Earth. At that point, people onboard would get about five minutes of weightlessness before the bonds of Earth retract with 6 G's of force.
The spaceplane would then glide back through the atmosphere to landing.
Friday's is the second incident in a week involving the commercial space industry.
On Tuesday, an unmanned Antares rocket exploded just after takeoff off the coast of Virginia. Controllers deliberately destroyed the craft after it became apparent there was a problem, a spokesman for Orbital Sciences Corp. said Thursday.

What Maine Ebola Nurse is really fighting for

What the Maine Ebola nurse is actually fighting for is all your lives and mine. If restrictions such as 21 day quarantine laws stay in place some or most people on earth could in the end die of Ebola.

The only hope the world has is that enough doctors and nurses can volunteer to go to Africa to stop this before it spreads to the rest of Africa, the Middle East, Europe, the U.S. North and south America Asia and Australia and the Pacific Islands etc.

If you read this following article with facts quoted from a new Time magazine article and my personal mathematical projections if the cases and death figures from July to October maintain the same ten times more factor every 4 months winds up being 1 billion 300 million cases of Ebola by January 2016 if that rate continued until then. So, the more nurses and doctors feel it can work for them to volunteer without going bankrupt trying to do this the more likely you won't die from Ebola here in the U.S. and around the world.

If you want to see just how scary these figures potentially are if enough doctors and nurses from around the world don't volunteer to stop Ebola in it's tracks here they are:

A JUDGE WHO temporarily agreed to quarantine Kaci Hickox, a Maine nurse who had treated Ebola patients, ruled yesterday that she did not have to have her movements restricted. The state of Maine had won a small, brief victory in its quest to quarantine Hickox, as Judge Cearles LaVerdiere on Thursday ordered her to limit her movements and keep a certain distance from members of the public. This order was to stand until the court issued any additional guidance, which LaVerdiere did yesterday.
LaVerdiere said that Hickox should continue daily monitoring and coordinate any travel with public-health officials, but said that her movements did not have to be completely restricted.
Limiting her movements to the degree requested by the state is not necessary because Hickox has no symptoms of Ebola, LaVerdiere wrote. He ordered her to alert public-health authorities if any symptoms emerge. Maine Gov. Paul LePage begrudgingly accepted the order yesterday.
Hickox has become the central figure in the debate over how the government will deal with health-care workers who return from the Ebola-ravaged part of West Africa. Before being allowed to return to Maine, she had been under quarantine in New Jersey, which she criticized during a back-and-forth with Gov. Chris Christie.

Prez of Burkina Faso ousted after 27 years

OUAGADOUGOU, Burkina Faso - The president of Burkina Faso stepped down yesterday after protesters stormed parliament and set the building ablaze, ending the 27-year reign of one of Africa's longest-serving rulers.
Confusion reigned late yesterday over who was in charge: Gen. Honore Traore quickly announced he was stepping into the vacuum left by departing President Blaise Compaore, but then Col. Yacouba Zida later appeared to be vying for power, announcing borders had been closed and a transitional committee established.
The quick succession of events took many by surprise, since Compaore had long out-maneuvered his adversaries and has in recent years become an important regional mediator. Burkina Faso hosts French special forces is an important ally of both France and the United States in the fight against Islamic militants in West Africa.

Commercial spacecraft explodes in test flight

MOJAVE, Calif. - A winged spaceship designed to take tourists on excursions beyond Earth's atmosphere exploded during a test flight yesterday over the Mojave Desert, killing a pilot in the second fiery setback for commercial space travel in less than a week. Virgin Galactic's SpaceShipTwo blew apart after being released from a carrier aircraft at high altitude, according to Ken Brown, who witnessed the explosion.
One pilot was found dead inside the spacecraft, which fell from the sky about 120 miles north of downtown Los Angeles. Another pilot parachuted out and was flown by helicopter to a hospital, Kern County Sheriff Donny Youngblood said.
British billionaire Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Galactic, has been the front-runner in the fledgling race to send paying civilians beyond the atmosphere to give them the feeling of weightlessness and a spectacular view of Earth below. Branson was flying to Mojave and expected to arrive today, as were investigators with the National Transportation Safety Board.
"Space is hard, and today was a tough day," Virgin Galactic CEO President George Whitesides said. "The future rests, in many ways, on hard, hard days like this."

Yen Slips to Seven-Year Low as Central Banks Diverge

The yen tumbled to its weakest level in almost seven years after the Bank of Japan unexpectedly boosted monetary stimulus, underscoring the widening gulf in monetary policy with the Federal Reserve.
The Japanese currency fell versus the dollar for a fourth month, the longest skid since December, amid speculation reforms to the $1.1 trillion state retirement fund will encourage flows out of the yen. The dollar climbed to a more than four-year high after the Fed ended asset purchases that have supported the economy since 2008. A government report next week is forecast to show that the U.S. added 235,000 jobs in October. Russia’s ruble extended a yearlong slump.
“We’ve finally seen the policy-divergence trade come home to roost,” said Joe Manimbo, a market analyst in Washington at Western Union Business Solutions, a unit of Western Union Co. “The one-two punch in terms of policy, that really runs the risk of seeing this downtrend for the yen play out further in the coming weeks.”
The yen touched 112.48 per dollar, the lowest since December 2007, before ending the month down 2.4 percent at 112.32. The dollar rose for a fourth month against the euro, the longest rally since June 2010, gaining 0.8 percent to $1.2525. It touched $1.2486, the strongest since August 2012. The euro advanced 1.6 percent in October to 140.68 yen.
The Bloomberg Dollar Spot Index, which tracks the currency against 10 major peers, rose 0.9 percent to close the month at 1,080.84, the highest since June 2010. Its fourth consecutive monthly gain is the longest streak since March 2013.

Winners, Losers

Russia’s ruble fell the most among 24 emerging-market currencies versus the greenback last month after the country failed to adopt a more aggressive foreign-exchange policy. The central bank raised rates yesterday, rather than altering the fixed trading-band policy that allows traders to profit from keeping short positions and betting on further depreciation.
The ruble declined 7.9 percent versus the dollar in October, pushing its year-to-date slump to 24 percent. The Polish zloty and Czech koruna were the next biggest losers last month, dropping 1.9 percent each.
Chile’s peso led gainers, adding 3.5 percent, followed by the Turkish lira at 2.5 percent and South Africa’s rand at 2.2 percent.
Brazil’s real slid 1.3 percent last month, after plunging as much as 3.2 percent yesterday as the budget deficit widened to a surprise record in September to add to the challenges of newly re-elected President Dilma Rousseff.

‘Hawkish’ Fed

The dollar advanced against most of its 31 major peers in October as the Fed finished a program of bond buying on schedule, taking the U.S. closer to its first interest-rate increase in eight years.
The central bank highlighted “solid” job gains and a falling jobless rate in its statement Oct. 29, while pledging to maintain borrowing costs at a record low for a “considerable time.” A report Nov. 7 is forecast to show the unemployment rate remained at 5.9 percent, the lowest level since July 2008.
“The Fed became more hawkish than expected this week and the sense was maybe the BOJ will remain relatively neutral,” Neil Jones, the head of hedge-fund sales at Mizuho Bank Ltd. in London, said by phone yesterday. “This has accentuated the sovereign divergence as a major force in markets. The price action tells you it’s a major surprise.”
Hedge funds and other large speculators boosted bets on the dollar versus eight of its major peers to the most on record this week. The difference in the number of wagers on a gain compared with those on a drop -- net longs -- was 345,633 as of Oct. 28, according to data from the Washington-based Commodity Futures Trading Commission.

Revised Forecast

The yen plunged after the BOJ said it plans to expand the monetary base by 80 trillion yen ($713 billion) a year, up from a previous 60 trillion to 70 trillion yen. Only three of 32 economists surveyed by Bloomberg predicted a change.
Officials also unveiled reforms to the Government Pension Investment Fund that increased allocations to stocks and overseas assets by more than expected. Japan’s public retirement-savings manager will put half its holdings in local and foreign stocks and reduce domestic bonds to 35 percent of assets from 60 percent.
Nomura Holdings Inc., Japan’s largest brokerage, revised its forecast for the yen in response. The lender is now targeting 115 yen per dollar by the end of the year, from 112 yen prior to the announcements, Jens Nordvig, a managing director of currency research, wrote in a note to clients yesterday.
“We don’t think the move is over,” he said by phone from New York. “We’re hoping to move to 115. I think that’s very possible.”

Euro, Krona

The euro fell as the European Central Bank stepped up its stimulus efforts, buying covered bonds last week and saying it will expand into asset-backed securities in November. It also cut interest rates to record lows.
Sweden’s central bank joined the in the easing, unexpectedly cutting its main rate to zero this week. The krona fell 2.4 percent in October, its fourth monthly decline.
The yen dropped 3.5 percent in the past three months, the worst performer among 10 developed-nation currencies tracked by Bloomberg Correlation-Weighted Indexes. The dollar was the best performer, adding 6.5 percent, while the euro dipped 1.1 percent.

I noticed some people reading this article and realized maybe more of you might want to read this too.

being quote:

Charles Sindelar

Though Charles passed on a year before I was born I knew his wife who lived at the White Temple on top of a hill in the Silver Lake District in Los Angeles in the 1950s. I don't know if it is there anymore or not. Mrs. Sindelar was very nice to me and in the main Sanctuary of the White Temple there were hung about 50 or more prints and originals of Charles Sindelar's art work. If you go to Google images and type "Charles Sindelar" you can see some of his art work of Jesus, Saint Germain and one of a divine self with a rainbow of colors behind it. Usually when you see a rainbow of colors like that it is referring to the positive karma built up from past lifetimes moving one toward Sainthood.

Charles Sindelar was Mr. Ballard's artist and May De Camera was Mrs. Ballard's artist. So when Mr. Ballard passed on Mrs. Ballard seemed to prefer May De Camera's art works. However, in the 1970s the Summit Lighthouse got a hold of a painting of Saint Germain and Jesus by Charles Sindelar and still uses these images in their church since the 1970s.

I first saw it flying back from South Korea in Business Class and enjoyed it while I bounced around for 9 of the 11 hours enough to put my soup all over my tablecloth and put all my silverware and glasses into the seat mechanism next to me. The silverware that is. The glasses all went of the table next to me into the seat but didn't break because of the bouncing around. This was because of Cyclones or hurricanes we were flying high over. LIkely being between 30,000 to 40,000 feet cushioned our ride somewhat so it was possible to cross at all then.

The jolts weren't enough to catapault a stewardess into the ceiling like I saw once going to Hawaii from the mainland. That experience 20 to 30 years ago makes me always have my seatbelt on loose whether the seatbelt sign is on or not when I'm sitting down on any flight.

The movie I liked a lot while flying back to the U.S. because it helped take my attention off the bumpiness of the ride.

Tonight my wife had bought this in a 3 DVD set with one being the extras, one being the blue ray, and one being the regular DVD I believe and also you could make a digital copy and put it on computer, tablet or smartphone if you wished.

Also this was the Unrated version which was 2 hours and 45 minutes so there was a lot of footage you don't see in the cut version at theaters and on flights.

I enjoyed this one a lot and my wife did too as we decided to watch it for Halloween. Normally we watch her 80s favorite with Peter O'tool with Ghosts, some of which are his relatives in the movie. That one is called "High Spirits" as our tradition for Halloween. Since our youngest daughter is away at college somehow this movie was more fitting this time.

A whole lot of interesting philosophical and technological ideas are put in this Transformers which really made me think a lot the 2nd time I saw this movie.
