I think that this is one of the reasons why Trump doesn't want people to see his tax returns. There may be others as well but this could be one of the biggest ones. When you are dealing with as much loss as he did with his bankruptcy he likely hasn't paid ANY or ZERO taxes since the 90s. If you understand the tax advantages to owning as much real estate as he did and does and then went bankrupt you understand this. So, Zero Taxes is a 95% to 99% probability given his bankruptcy and the amount of money lost that could be deducted from future taxes ongoing.
But for 95% of people they are going to be really pissed that Trump not only drove all his contractors out of business and into bankruptcy PLUS he hasn't paid any taxes in 20 years. So, not only did he drive his contractors into bankruptcy by not paying them by going bankrupt, he also didn't pay any taxes the last 20 years either. So, he doesn't want his constituents to see this first hand.
He might have financial entanglements with Putin or his oligarchs or other things he doesn't want people to see either. However, no taxes for 20 years might piss off more of the people who voted for him than anything else.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
