A progressive or Socialist Candidate cannot win against Trump

Why?

First of all, progressive policies simply don't work practically in a nation as big as ours. For example, Medicare for all types of programs like you see in places like England and Canada and France and South Korea all have populations below 60 to 80 million people. These types of progressive medical care systems simply are too unwieldy in actuality to work in a country of 327 million people here in the U.S. You might get state run programs to work and states like California have "medi-Cal" which sort of works for poorer people and people with small businesses who cannot afford to pay for Medical insurance and keep their business going to support them.

So, the point is in the same way that Trump is bankrupting the country giving tax breaks to Corporations and running up the national debt, progressives and socialists would only break the bank even more by trying to create something that couldn't even work effectively in the first place because we are just too big to be successful at this because 60 to 80 million people is the limit for socialized medicine in ANY country being effective.

The point is that Trump is bankrupting our nation by giving tax Breaks to corporations and progressives and socialists would bankrupt the nation by trying to do something that is practically impossible with this large a nation in the first place.

And enough of the voters know this and this is why you have to have a moderate candidate like Biden in order to win against Trump. And if you don't get Trump out of office you lose NATO and probably our democracy too after the last few years of destruction of our democratic system under Trump.

However, Obamacare was working quite effectively in the states (about 26 states) that allowed it to work properly. However, if we are going to go from a racist Republican to a progressive socialist to a racist Republican none of this can work at all because one will start programs and then the other will end all programs that either faction wants. So, the end result is so chaotic that it will just bankrupt the country completely in both directions. So, going to extremes will just end our democracy completely within a couple of these extreme go rounds. Because by then we will be bankrupt and be a failed democracy as a result.

The problem is the extreme right and the extreme left often are not pragmatic enough to see this. And this is the extreme problem we are actually dealing with ongoing here in the U.S.
