Doing Cavalry tricks with a horse in 1918

This horse doesn't look very happy to be doing this. He has to drag his hind parts which likely hurts a lot. And if he doesn't land just right he will break a leg which I think he knows at this point.

Well that’s one way to go down a hill. Georgia’s Camp Wheeler was the site of the National Guard’s mobilization in 1917 following the United State’s entrance into the first World War. Wheeler was where National Guardsmen were given preparation before they were integrated into the Army, making it one of the last stops that many men saw before heading to Europe.
In order to get the camp up to code, it cost the U.S. $4 million to renovate the 21,480 acres of land. Following the end of World War I the camp became a demobilization center before it was shut down. The camp was permanently closed in January 1946.
