Single payer healthcare only works up to about 60 to 80 million people

If you look around the world at successful single payer social welfare medical care it only works up to about 60 to 80 million people. All the others tend to fail. For example, the most successful single payer healthcare system on earth that I know of is South Korea. I hear Canada is pretty good too. But then you have to look at the population base to be realistic too. The following countries seem to have the most successful social medical care programs on earth in addition to South Korea. But, if you notice the population of the U.S. is:

 327.2 million (2018)
As you can see our population is too high to navigate single payer healthcare for all 50 states in any federal program. You might succeed doing this state by state but that would be the only way it could actually work.
Think about this for a moment: just California is over 40 million people and the 5th largest economy on earth all by itself.
And California already has Medi-Cal which is it's own medical care system for poorer people or people with businesses who cannot afford health insurance who become eligible for Medi-Cal the way it is presently set up.

Population of Canada   37.06 million (2018)

Population of
South Korea . 51.47 million (2017)

Population of England 55.62 million (2017)

Population of France 66.99 million (2019)

Population of Sweden 9.995 million (2017)
