Why?
Because at 1 million soldiers Iran has the strongest military of any nation (other than Israel) in the Middle East. And what the U.S. and Great Britain have done has only angered Iran and made it even more angry and resolute. Now Sunni Nations are afraid a hornets nest in Iran is going to sting all of them and hurt them economically and militarily which is likely true. So, Trump finds himself in the difficult position of Sunni nations begging him to do something else now because what he's doing now isn't working for any of the Sunni nations like Saudi Arabia.
The other problem is that Russia is allied with Iran and China is allied with Russia in all this. So, China is buying Iranian oil because of the Trade war with the U.S. saying (Fuck You, U.S.) Russia is happy because the oil prices are rising because of the tensions with Iran, so anything short of military action by the U.S. against Iran won't bring Russian Planes and Ships to defend Iran against the U.S. So, economic sanctions are the Only thing that Russia is going to approve of because it raises the price of oil on the world market which is good for the Russian Government and economy because Russia is an Oil based economy like Saudi Arabia and Iran. And once again China is buying secretly Iranian oil at below market prices.
So, the Trade war has now moved to Iran selling black market oil to China because China is saying "Fuck You" to the U.S. because of the Trade war with China.
So, we are now about where Japan and Germany and the U.S. were just before World War II started. This is something to think about in relation to Iran, Russia and China for everyone worldwide.
