I think the U.S. will be able to maintain civilization here in the U.S.

But, I'm not sure that will be possible in many 3rd world nations as they are hit one by one with coronavirus. With lack of education and lack of health care services it is going to hit the poor and middle class and uneducated very hard around the world. Because of this it is possible that governments will collapse under the weight of all this. Coronavirus is the greatest Security threat to all nations of the world in my lifetime and I was born just after world war II.

They were saying that it is Ecuador's connection to Italy and Spain that likely infected the nation this way so early so it is likely going to spread now to other nations as people run to escape the virus across borders legally or illegally all over South America who might be carriers but not sick.

So, as you can see whether it is New York City or Guayaquil, Ecuador people are dying at home a lot without ever going to a doctor or hospital or being tested worldwide. This leaves local authorities to deal with the situation later and often could infect whoever picks up these bodies and their families too if they are not extremely knowledgeable and careful in handling these bodies.

Guayas is a region of Ecuador sort of like a county.
