Real Biocoms

In either the late 90s or early 2000s I coined the term Biocom to be a shortened combination of Biological and Computer. The concept in everyman usage right now is the size of an Iphone or Android or Blackberry with online capabilities as long as there is cell signal.

However, what we are working towards is something so tiny it can literally run off of the biochemically generated electricity that our nerves, brain and muscles also operate off of. So, a Biocom can literally operate as long as someone is alive(and possibly afterwards through small battery storage perhaps built into teeth fillings and teeth implants in the upper or lower jaw along withe deep storage memory.

It was common I'm told, that starting with President Clinton every President has often worn a transmitter receiver so small it fits inside the ear canal in such a way that it is invisible to someone looking into the ear next to them. It is there so that the Secret Service can hear all sounds the president hears and to warn him in an emergency of any danger or to help him navigate or duck for cover in an instant.

Tonight I was watching  President Obama and thought I detected on my 52 inch widescreen on an HD Channel something that looked like at first like a drop of water in the center of his lower eyelid beneath his right eye (looking to your left when looking directly at him). I first was convinced it was a drop of water from freshening his face for the first few minutes. However, when the drop should have either evaporated or dripped down his face I realized it was not a drop of water and more likely a piece of  plastic the size of the head of a pin or less. If it is a micro miniature video cam it would relay to a wireless microphone relay on him likely in one of his back pockets and then would relay to Secret Service who likely would run facial expression and facial intent software on all faces present. Anyone who was a threat or potential threat or who was having mental or emotional problems of any kind would be singled out of the ones the president was looking directly at with his right eye as his right eye socket and lower eyelid scanned the room.

I was actually very pleased to see this as it likely will make the President even more secure and safe and lead to (within 5, 10, or 20 years) cell phones that would be no more than a plastic dot glued to one's face, an ear bud that fit inside one's ear and a sender receiver in one's pocket on  which all sound and video could be stored, analyzed or whatever the user would want to do with that information.

I cannot guarantee that this is what I thought it was but I have known this kind of thing was coming for at least 20 to 50 years intuitively and through common sense and an understanding of the progression of micro micro video and sound technology.
