Several Nations are as ethnocentric as the United States like China and Russia. I'm sure all three nations consider anyone burning their flags as idiotic, irrational and uneducated. However, the rest of the world in the case of the preacher in Florida that wants to burn 100 or more Korans on Saturday should know he is mainly trying to make a name for himself (even though the likelihood is that some Muslim will shoot him here in the U.S.) or that he will be arrested before he burns anything at all. Because print is a toxic poisonous controlled substance and isn't allowed to be burned in that county of Florida. So likely he will be arrested before anything happens.
But, if we also look at a lot of wars in the past centuries, sometimes they are started by riots or massacres much like the American Revolutionary War. So, this is a dangerous idea and a dangerous precedent and it is likely other Americans might have similar views to this preacher so this might not be the end of this.
The United States is in one of the foulest moods over the last 9 years since 9-11 and likely many relatively uneducated or relatively uninformed people might believe that Islam instead of Radicalized terrorist Islam is the culprit. So, because of this foul mood this whole thing could easily get out of hand worldwide. If that happens no one might be able to put the genie back in the bottle.
So, everyone that is capable needs to pray and write and say what they believe to help the world make it through the latest craziness.
