One possible reason that the rocket did not perform correctly on October 4th is I think that might have been the date that the Solar Flare that also hit me While flying back from Hawaii on the 8th originated from the sun.

If I remember correctly this is when the Flare started its journey to Earth and it's magnetosphere.
