I have found the clearest I tend to be with God is when I first wake up in the morning. You have been renewed by God while you slept at night (especially if you don't use any alarm to wake up). So, when you can wake up naturally you can experience being one with God usually the most at this time.
I was raised with the idea of being a Co-Creator with God which basically goes like this: If you want something and God Agrees with you God Gives it to you. This is a very American way of thinking and I see it based a lot upon Transcendentalism of Emerson and also adding in the Ecological consciousness of Thoreau it is very powerful and useful.
Experiencing fully your oneness with God is much easier in the morning because you tend to be rested and unafraid when you first are waking up. And often things you are aware of then can be the most helpful to yourself and other beings. Take right now I'm writing for example, I thought about writing something like this but decided to use the time in the morning when I first woke up because it would tend to come through clearer then.
During the night you are reborn in consciousness. There is a saying, "Let me sleep on it" and this has been found to be true by Scientists. When people are faced with a problem often "sleeping on it allows the subconscious mind to process it in different ways and allows a solution from a completely new direction than one might have thought of the day or night before. So, in some ways when you first wake up in the morning often is the most powerful time of day to begin to create new things and new ideas in your life that are helpful to you and others.
